Strain reliefs prevent excessive bending or twisting of the cable near the connector, reducing the risk of damage to the internal wires and ensuring a longer lifespan for the cable. Simply45® strain reliefs are the same width as the RJ45 connector body and becomes integrated into the RJ45 plug during the crimping process. The extended tab provides a snag proof protection for the locking tab on the plug. Adding strain reliefs is a cost-effective way to ensure the longevity and reliability of your network connections.
